Otter Bar Lodge Kayak School offers whitewater kayak and outdoor skills training programs based out of its remote wilderness lodge on California's Salmon River. Fourteen guests stay at the lodge for a week at a time while advancing their kayaking skills with instructors renowned for their teaching and expertise. The student/instructor ratio is the best in the business. So is the location. Surrounded by Northern California's Klamath National Forest, Otter Bar occupies a swooping bend in the Salmon River between the Trinity Alps and Marble Mountain Wilderness Areas. While extremely isolated, you are well taken care of on and off the river.
